In the current round, the Institute is involved in two successful ARC Discovery grants for a total of $810k over 3 years.
"Artificially building the bacterial flagellar motor" (with UNSW), and "Electron and spin transport in topological insulators" (with University of Wollongong); and two successful ARC-LIEF grants for a total of $500k
"Fabrication and characterisation facilities for lithium rechargeable batteries and supercapacitors" (with UNSW, UTS, UWA, Griffith University, DSTO and University of Wollongong) and "Hyperpolarised gas functional lung and molecular imaging" (with University of Queensland, Murdoch Childrens Research Institute and Monash University).
