Safety interlock system at OPAL is featured in a press release

The safety interlock system, for our neutron beam instruments at OPAL, has been featured in a press release by the component manufacturer, Pilz.

In addition, the implementation of a new thinner solid-liquid cell on the HIFAR neutron reflectometer has led to substantial performance improvements:

The minimum measurable reflectivity Rmin has been reduced from 2.10-5 to 3.10-6

The target at the new PLATYPUS reflectometer at OPAL is 10-8.
