At this year's Engineering Excellence Awards, we were awarded 2 honours:
(1) Susan Graham, who worked with us a summer student earlier in the year, won the award for Engineering Student of the Year, in part for work done with us at ANSTO;
(2) our "Rapid Heat - Quench Cell for Small-Angle Neutron Scattering" was runner up in the Innovations and Inventions category. Susan is a student of Sydney University who did her award winning work with Anton Stampfl.
The Rapid Heat - Quench Cell was developed principally by Stewart Pullen, as part of a partnership with University of Western Sydney.
