Today, Dr Jason Gardner joins our team to lead the National Science Council of Taiwan's team of instrument scientists and engineers based with the Institute.

Jason has come most recently from the University of Indiana and the NIST Center for Neutron Research, where he has been co-responsible for the spin-echo spectrometer

The National Science Council of Taiwan has funded the construction of the SIKA cold 3-axis spectrometer, which is currently in commissioning.

Eventually, 4 scientific staff will be based in the Institute, covering powder diffraction, reflectometry, small-angle scattering and triple-axis spectroscopy.
