We are very glad to welcome some old friends from overseas who are taking sabbatical leave at the Institute: John Evans and Ivana Evans from the University of Durham in the UK, and Tom Vogt from the University of South Carolina in the USA. John and Ivana will be with us for the next 6 months, and Tom for 4 months in total.
All are experts in solid-state chemistry, and in the application of X-ray and neutron diffraction to a variety of problems, with a number of experiments approved to run on our Echidna neutron powder diffractometer.
