Last night, a team from ANSTO's Institute for Materials Engineering and the Bragg Institute were finalists in the "Research and Development" Category at the 2014 Sydney Engineering Excellence Awards, a gala event held in the Grand Ballroom of Sydney's Westin Hotel.
The team, led by Anna Paradowska, was awarded a "highly commended" citation (essentially a silver medal) for its submission "The team behind the KOWARI Strain Scanner - Dedicated Materials Engineering Instrument at ANSTO."
