The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) has been recognised at the 2016 Comcare Work Health and Safety Awards.
ANSTO took home the Prevention Award for its innovative Change Management Toolkit, which assists managers in designing, planning, implementing and reviewing change.
The Change Management Toolkit was developed in 2015 by ANSTO’s Human Resources and Workplace Health and Safety in consultation with ANSTO’s Communications and Community Relations team.
ANSTO’s General Manager for Human Resources, Rob Blissett said, “This is a terrific result for ANSTO and it acknowledges that our approach to change management is being held up as best practices
“It is also testament to ANSTO’s commitment to working with our staff, trying new approaches that are based on common sense and genuine consultation to achieve a good result for our people.”
The ANSTO Change Management Toolkit recognises that change done well is a constant process that can deliver great dividends for staff and the organisation.
“The key to delivering and managing change effectively is consultation,” said Blissett.
“By embracing change and working with staff on the implementation and design, as the Change Management Toolkit spells out, you can deliver tangible benefits to any organisation.”
ANSTO also congratulated the other 2016 Comcare Work Health and Safety Awards winners and finalists. ANSTO CEO, Dr Adi Paterson said, “A big congratulations must go to Rob Blissett and his team for their extraordinary work and this wonderful result.”
