Inaugural AONSA Research Fellow at the Bragg Institute

ANSTO is very glad to welcome Dr. Xinzhi Liu, from the China Institute of Atomic Energy in Beijing, as one of the the first two AONSA Young Research Fellows.  Travel for the scheme is provided by the Asia-Oceania Neutron Scattering Association, a pan-Asian federation of user societies, including the Australian Neutron Beam Users Group.  Xinzhi will be at ANSTO for the next 12 months, working specifically with Frank Klose and Kirrily Rule, with a project title of "The investigation of magnetism in the multiferroic BiFeO3 system using neutron scattering".

The second round of applications for AONSA Young Research Fellows is now open, and ANSTO has agreed to take up to 2 further fellows next year.
