A limited number of places are available for university-level student scientists to attend a workshop on nanotechnology at the Australian Synchrotron, in Clayton, Melbourne on 19 - 21 May.
This is the sixth Bilateral Italian-Australian School and Workshop. It represents a rare opportunity for students to interact with distinguished international authorities on photon and neutron applications to the study of biological and nanoscale systems.
It will include discussions about the use of synchrotron X-rays, Free Electron Lasers, and neutron scattering to the fields of nanoscience, structural biology, life sciences and pharmaceutical research, molecular electronics, surface science and related fields.
The workshop will inform students and researchers about advances in research in these fields, the development of new techniques, and promote collaboration between Australian and Italian scientists.
