Work on Coordination Frameworks in Nature Chemistry

Recent research, with data from our WOMBAT high-intensity powder diffractometer, has been published in the prestigious journal Nature Chemistry.  The work, in collaboration with Sydney University, features a pressure-dependent study of coordination framework compounds that show very large compressibilities.  For more information and a very nice animation, please see ANSTO's release on this subject.

The full reference is "Extreme compressibility in LnFe(CN)6 coordination framework materials via molecular gears and torsion springs", S. G. Duyker, V. K. Peterson, G. J. Kearley, A. J. Studer and C. J. Kepert, Nature Chemistry, January 11, 2016.
