Today, Dr. Kathleen Wood joined us as the third instrument scientist on our QUOKKA Small-Angle Neutron Scattering Instrument. Kathleen did her PhD at the Institut Laue Langevin in Grenoble, France with Prof. G. Zaccai, and joins us directly from a postdoctoral position at University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
Her interests are primarily in structural biology, and aside from small-angle scattering, she has a strong background in NMR and inelastic neutron scattering.
