In the current round, the Institute was involved, via its joint appointments Clemens Ulrich and Chris Ling, in two successful ARC Discovery grants for a total of $690k over 3 years.
"Novel multiferroic materials for the next generation of microelectronics: the effect of isotope substitution on magnetism" (with the University of New South Wales) and "Crystal-chemical tuning of order and disorder: a strategy for the discovery of novel solid state ionic conductors" (with the University of Sydney).
