ANSTO Minerals will be presenting in the In Situ Recovery (ISR) Symposium, Uranium-REE-Lithium session and Lithium Processing Forum.
 | Dr Mark Maley will present an overview of the work performed by ANSTO Minerals over 30 years in the area of ISR, and present key results from various test work programs performed. Dr James Quinn will outline results obtained using a newly released, high capacity strong base anion exchange (SBA) resin for the recovery of uranium from saline leach liquors. ANSTO Minerals’ understanding of the function of this resin, allowed the design and construction of a pilot plant at ANSTO, which was transported to BOSS Resources’ Honeymoon mine site in South Australia where it was operated successfully for 10 weeks. Dr Adam Roper will present on an alternative approach for the processing of lepidolite ores via sulphation baking, providing a comparison against conventional processing flowsheets and addressing the major key risks of currently adopted methods. Read abstract.
