ANSTO was represented by Frank Klose at the First Taiwan Neutron Users Meeting, held at the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Centre in Hsinchu.
The meeting also featured the SIKA Cold-Neutron 3-Axis Spectrometer, which is nearing completion at the OPAL Reactor, and which is funded by the National Science Council of Taiwan.
The image shows attendees, including Frank Klose and Prof. Sow-Hsin Chen (MIT-Nuclear Engineering) in the front row, wearing "deer hats" to represent SIKA, which is otherwise known as the Formosan Sika Deer and which is native to the island of Taiwan.
Frank gave an invited talk at the meeting on "Novel Spintronic Materials Investigated with Polarised Neutrons".
