Today, ANSTO and the University of Tokyo signed agreements on academic exchange, and for collaborative access to facilities, particularly to the Bragg Institute's neutron beam facilities at OPAL, in the period before the JRR-3M reactor restarts operations.
The partner at the University is the Institute for Solid State Physics, which facilitates access to major research infrastructure in Japan.
As part of this arrangement, Prof. Mitsuhiro Shibayama is joining the Program Advisory Committee.
