As the United Nations International Year of Crystallography draws to a close and the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies commences, ANSTO has been formally recognised by the International Union of Crystallography for its role in the Year of Crystallography.
Specifically, Helen Maynard-Casely has been cited for "promoting the International Year of Crystallography by ‘tweeting’ a crystal structure each and every day throughout 2014."
