This week, the Institute organised the 37th Annual Condensed-Matter and Materials Meeting in Wagga Wagga, half way between Sydney and Melbourne.

ANSTO has historically been one of five or six core participants in these Wagga meetings, which are primarily directed at students and early-career researchers.

This year's meeting featured 5 talks from ANSTO (including 2 invited talks), one by Daniel Häusermann from the Australian Synchrotron, and several by a number by our users, from around the world.

The bulk of the meeting organisation was done by Kate Piccirillo, Anna Paradowska, Richard Mole and Garry McIntyre, together with Gordon Thorogood from ANSTO's Institute of Materials Engineering.
