Newest neutron-scattering capabilities highlighted in Neutron News

Nine articles give an overview of the evolution of the instrument suite since the start-up of OPAL in 2006. They describe in detail the newest capabilities made available by the internal Major Capital Works programme for KOOKABURRA, PELICAN and 3He polarisation, ARC-LIEF funding for the Be-filter option on TAIPAN, and Super Science Funding for BILBY, DINGO, EMU, and state-of-the-art sample environment.

Complementing the antipodean technical emphasis in this issue of Neutron News is a report on the first, and very popular, Inelastic Neutron Scattering School (INSS 2015) run by the Bragg Institute in November 2015.

To top it off, the OPAL reactor also features on the front cover.

The editorial by Dr Hannu Mutka is most aptly entitled Fast Forward Down Under!.
