ANSTO reminds all staff and people visiting our campus that total fire bans around NSW are still in place. While key areas of ANSTO’s 70 hectare campus are clear of dense scrub, all the normal precautions have been taken, including staff being reminded not to use naked flames or barbeques.
ANSTO has 20 trained bushfire responders who are able to provide first response to a fire on or near our campus and work with local fire authorities, should they ever be needed.
