Please join us in congratulating Anton Stampfl (Bragg Institute) on being elected President of the Vacuum Society of Australia. Karyn Jarvis (Institute of Materials Engineering) has also been elected Secretary of the society.
The Vacuum Society of Australia is dedicated to the advancement of vacuum science in a variety of research fields (materials, surfaces, interfaces, thin films, plasmas), vacuum technology, and relevant education, and it is also represents Australia within the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications.
