We are very pleased to announce that Hal Lee has been successful in an application for funding, through the Australian Academy of Science and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, to collaborate with the team at the J-PARC spallation neutron source on the application of polarised 3He technology to neutron scattering.
Mutual visits between Australia and Japan will take place in 2015, along with transfer of equipment between OPAL and J-PARC, for experiments.
