Australian researchers have been featured in a HOT Article in the CrystEngComm Blog for their work studying hydrogen bonding in isostructural potassium and ammonium lanthanoidates |
Among the researchers involved in the work included Dr Alison Edwards from ANSTO's Bragg Institute whose role involves applying neutron single crystal studies to important chemical questions where X-ray diffraction studies cannot in principle, be definitive.
Dr Edwards has over 80 published papers in X-ray crystallography and several hundred unpublished structures.
The full reference for the on-line paper is: "A neutron diffraction study of hydrogen bonding in isostructural potassium and ammonium lanthanoidates", A. J. Emerson, A. J. Edwards, S. R. Batten and D. R. Turner, CrystEngCom (2014); DOI: 10.1039/C3CE42031K.
The article will be free to access until the end of December 2013.
