Today, for the first time, we measured a specular-reflectivity profile from an air-liquid interface (see right or view a larger image) on our X-ray reflectometer.
We had previously been limited to air-solid interfaces.
The PLATYPUS neutron reflectometer will also be able to handle solid-liquid and solid-solid interfaces.
